I have nothing negative to say about the story, only positives here.
The Story is worth the read. It was sweet, romantic, and pretty hot all in one.
This doujin seemed to focus more on romance/story than the sex.
The Art seemed weird at times, the area they’re hiding seemed to change in size, and the shading seemed to change, the characters faces also seemed to change (though that might be because seasons has passed).
The censors are small strips and their transparency is very, very low. So it would get in the way, but again, this doujin seemed to focus more on the story than the sex.
I give this: 3/5

I enjoyed this very much. I usually like the stuff I find in those LO magazines. The girl had freckles which was a nice touch reminded me sort of a girl I knew in my youth. Also these shota/loli storys alays seem to remind me of my youth and this one especially reminded me of a particular unrequeted love that I had. I was not sure at first if it was through the perspective of the boy or the girl at first and it did not completly get resolved for me untill the end. It as fairly short but sweet. Was tempted to say sour. Love that sweet and sour pork tasty. But I degress; you do realize that this sort of thing happens all the time don’t you and I think to myself that although it is marked for adults it almost felt like it was written for kids… Not pulpy bubblegum like power puff girls or what not. Have you read Summer Sisters? More like that..That book is written for young adults and children… This doujin reminded me of that in a way. So read this you will be better for it…Oh…and I will be back when you are old enough to buy cigarretes…

This Doujin was very well written… The story was nice and romantic… It didnt focus on the sex so much as it did in the story. The art was fairly nice and I enjoyed seeing the kids change as time passed…. Great doujin worth a read =D

I can’t believe how emotional this story was, while maintaining a deep emotional depth that seems so rare nowadays in doujin’s.
While the art style is obviously a bit messy and complacent, the story more than makes up for it, making it seem like its own form of expression through what the artist uses and portrays. It’s something that I truly loved, and as the story went on, I grew to love the art more and more.
The biggest draw here is the story. I have to say now, this is definitely a doujin worth reading, and it so emotional and powerful that I could almost imagine reading the same thing in a novel. The impact of each of the characters and their feelings are just so heart felt and creative that there is almost no faults to speak of.
What it comes down to is a wonderful, beautiful story that draws the attention to a young girl and boy who meet in their hiding place, and share it for many months, growing emotionally and physically. While the art seems a bit out of place at first, it sinks in as something that it couldn’t be without.

I agree… It is a romantic stoey, but to me it implies that their relationship ended, like he moved away or something….Also they didn’t have sex, which i liked because it made their pleasure more innocent

This is not a 5/5, no, no, no. The story may have been, but you gotta remember, these are still Doujins! If a manga was placed up here, I would give it a 0/5, because how is that a Doujin? I strongly disagree that story can make up for loss of sex. This semi-Doujin, was just that.
If anything, TheBigBoom has nailed this on the head.

The story presented and elaborated very well, a joy to read. But the story lacked something essential I feel to a Doujin, and that is sexual tension. I think a great Doujin-based story would have you heated with passion even when they are just talking, but this story did not. I felt like this whole semi-Doujin (I like to call it) was story, with the sex an attraction rather then the selling point.
The art was fair, at times I truly enjoyed it, while at others I didn’t. The clothes stood out for me, they were always detailed very well, but how far can clothes go in a Doujin.. It seemed they were always there, sticking out.
Anything else: I liked this.. semi-Doujin.. but it can only go so far in my eyes, and never reach a perfect score, for a Doujin.

PS. Yotsuba, I have to constantly stop reading your reviews because you do something that I think is just wrong. You summarize the Doujin. I try my best to give a good invoice to someone about a Doujin without ruining the entire story, because they are usually pretty short and easy to sum up, like you do all the time.

No sexual tension?!? Did you even read this doujin? Ever since they meet there is nothing but an air of sexual tension from each of these two characters. When they first meet, the boy steals a glance at the girls panties, and from there it only escalates. From then, to when they hold hands for the first time, till the end, it’s all played off to nothing but the tension of two people meeting and falling in love.
I’m not so sure why a doujin has to have penetration to be good. What are you talking about Cloud? “A Story can only go so far” A story is one of the only factors that carry a doujin! And the fact that this doujin hold such a strong story without strong implications of sex is an amazing thing.
Also, Cloud, the clothes were meant to stand out. As they grow older in the story, the only real way to judge their growth or age is through their clothing style and choices. It’s something that a lot of teenagers consider in these days, to have trends or to have individuality.
And also, the only thing I gave away in my review was the fact that they have a hiding place. Sorry if that spoiled the story for you, folks!
Also the definition of doujin can be defined two different ways, and neither have to do with anything sexual. They have become a sexual translation from english, but in Japan it’s simply mangaka that are not well known or amateur to create by doing what they love, including manga that are not sexual.
It just confuses me that when an honestly good doujin pops up here with a story that has the strength to pull through with a collection could be belittled for not having enough sex.
