Wow. Just wow.
It’s been a long time since I’ve reviewed something, but this is definitely one of the better ones.
The story in this is well established and maintained throughout. The only out-of-place bit in the story is the sex scene. And the author managed to pull that off as well.
I found the artwork quite pleasant, perhaps a tiny bit crude at times, but it lent to the atmosphere of the book. Could also have been from the quality of the scans, who am I to tell?
The sex itself was of a very basic quality, no weird fetishes or impossible happenings here. Although it is the climax of the story. The censors used seemed to be of the whiteout variety, so there was quite a bit of detail lost. Still… It did the job for me.
The ending was rushed, as if the author was limited on pages towards the end. But I liked the last page and how it ended. It was a real positive note and wasn’t what I expected.
All in all, I enjoyed this one completely. Thankyou.

I really liked this one. The overall feeling was quiet cute and innocent, which wasn’t what i was expecting.
Art wasn’t great, but it worked nicely with the story as a whole. Just kept the cuteness =)
The lack of any…weirdness was a relief. Nice and straight story and sex. Nothing over the top. Only real complaint was the shortness. Oh,and the

…But that’s not the author’s fault. Perhaps I’ll avoid deducting marks based on those?. Meh, perhaps not. So much of the good bits saw a shortened life span due to the ferocious nature of the sad no-life censor bloke. Grrrr

The preview page didn’t strike me, but the art style was endearing, as was the story. Agreed that it was kinda rushed (is there some unheard intonation that indicates “‘no’ means ‘yes’”?), but the warm smile I had by the end compelled me to look over it and 5 this sucker.

I really only have two major complaints about this: One, What new side did he see in her in just three days? That at school she was snobby and stuck up and on the island she was… bitchy and stuck up? Seriously, all she really did was complain about how they were going to die on the island, the only time you see any other side to her is that exact moment when she has her break down. My other major complaint is that I think getting rescued is a pretty big story element, I mean you couldn’t toss in one panel that had like a boat rolling up on shore instead we get a small box that has to explain that, yes they get rescued. My minor complaint are probably all ones that fall on deaf ears here but I just find it annoying that this only took place over three days! And for once I’d like some character to be a fucking gentlemen and pull her fucking bra up, I mean really? You practically rape her then you get rescued and everything’s honkey-dorey, I know this is comic and I should suspend my disbelief but even in basic story telling this is a total load blow. It basically just says here’s a bit of establishment of who the characters are and then they have sex, the end. There’s no build up no real teaser unless you count the opening page where she’s already naked because apparently that dress was made of paper-meshay, that’s not how you draw people in or atleast not how you’re supposed to. Give me something to look forward to for crying out loud, don’t draw me in with the naked girl let me go out with her. If the creator of this comic had actually drawn out the comic a bit more the characters might be more interesting, but since it all happens so quickly there’s nothing to make me feel like their love is anything special. This is just made for quickies and I think it shows, jerk one out and forget it, it leaves nothing to the imagination and plops the sex scene right in your lap with no tension and no excuse. Funny, I thought I didn’t have many problems with this but now that I’m talking about it I guess I did. Oh well.

Now, even though it’s porn it’s still a form of entertinment and that’s what I’ve been on about from the beginning and I don’t think the genre should mean that it’s an excuse to expect a sub-par product.
Also, I didn’t say he was a gentleman, I said I’d like to see it once, just once even if it’s not used well it’ll atleast show me that someone is thinking about the charater as a person. And the reason I brought it up is because I preceived his perversion as a way to keep her from giving up by implying that if she dies he’s going to do things to her body.
But I feel that they could have teased us abit to draw us in and give us something to look forward to and give us a sense of anticipation. Which this fails at from the first page. As you said, it’s hentai so we know there’s going to be nudity in it so why just dump it in our lap? It wasn’t even given a good reason other than to get her into the bikini in the magic bag on the beach.
Also, it’s easy to have a jock metality over the internet and say, “Who wouldn’t?” Trust me,it’s not that easy.
As for why you don’t see more plot driven doujinshi is because it’s hentai and no one’s trying to monitor the quality of them so you get more mindless sex. I think this falls more in that catagory, maybe you saw something in it I didn’t, I don’t know. But I always appreciate other people’s opinion.

Here’s a pretty sound opinion shared by most people here.
It’s porn. No one gives a damn about every single little plot point. If your going to comment about it in that many words, at least rate the damn thing so that those of us who don’t want to read a wall of text can see how much you like it.

I love how interested people are or disinterested people are in my opinion calling it silly to analyze porn, even though my handle is HodgePodge.
But anyway, I used to give ratings along with my irrelevant rambling, I did this to give a clear idea of what I think so people can quickly skim across my bullshit and say ok this guy likes/dislikes it. But I stopped beccause of the rating system that used to be on the site, I thought it was a great little add on, however, since the admin found that it slowed down the site they took it down, which I can understand. So, I forgot that I needed to once again give a rating.
However, you three oral hentai kings have, well not opened my eyes because I know no one really gives a rats ass about what I have to say, but since it’s a forum I thought I’d put it out there anyway.
