Heh, looks like I’m no the one making walls of text anymore. I get what Anonomous is getting at but man, apparently you didn’t read all of Sachelo’s comment, especially the part where he/she said, “lol j.k doujinland.com is beast”. But yeah, Pathetic’s a troll plain and simple.
Now for my review! It’s been awhile, I may be a little rusty… nah, I’m sure I’ll be fine.
This series has always had a predictably average story so there’s not much I can say about it. Although, I’d like to know who made those glasses and said “Here everyone, I made these which will unlock hidden powers inside us, but to get them to work just go up to some guy and have him jizz in your face.” What an asshole. But it makes me think, would “Gojyo”’s race of demons collect semen from guys to feul there glasses? Maybe she’s no better then the sea witch. Ever think about that huh? HUH!?
Speaking of witch (See what I did there?) I thought this one had some odd continuety issues and really strange artistic choices. For instance, when “Gojyo” shows up in this one and she puts the monk guy’s, who’s name I’ve already forgotten, dick in her, it clearly goes in right side-up but when it shows the x-ray vision thing it’s facing sideways.
Another thing, was the monk himself, geez, when people talk about androgynous male characters in anime and manga, he must be the poster boy. Seriously, there’s a scene where he’s supposed to look compassionate but it’s just freaky because he looks so feminine. Hell, he’s even covering his chest with a towel. Why? Is he afraid someone’ll give him a random purple nurple? You’d think if he was so uncomfortable with people touching his penis, he’d cover that up, but no he covers his chest.
One more than I’ll give my rating. The “Sea Witch” who doesn’t get a name even though it’s more than likely Ursula. Is there air in that cave or something?, didn’t they need “Gojyo” to make a bubble for them? Maybe I’m assuming, but it seems like a very big detail to leave out, but I guess I can’t fault the artist there, since omitting things like air and rescue scenes seem to be his style.
So, then what to rate it? Average “Evil Master” story, good art with odd direction, continuety’s a bit everywhere, but that’s minor. I give it three androgynous purple nurples out of five.
Anonomous, you “don’t mean to be verbose”? Bah-ha-ha. And Marine snipers don’t shoot to kill. But yeah, I concur, just ignore the little fuck and his kind. Um, the analogy about rising like scum in muck…. While perhaps accurate , could you at least upgrade us to algae instead of random scum? Unless you mean it like “pond scum”, another name for algae. This is based on that. If Poju is going to do the entire epic then you would be looking at something the length of 2000++ pages easy; 10-30 pages each chapters (encounter) and the entire thing totaled about 81 challenges (that is if he gonna do all the chapters) for the bunch to face before reaching India. Even after that, you’d be looking at an additional 2 or 3 more chapters. So ballpark 2500 pages easy. As much as I would like them to be made, that’s no easy feast.
Next best thing would be that he picks just the signature events and do them in one of those magazine, like the burning mountain w/ the fan lady and shit.
